how can you tell if you have silicone caulk or acrylic caulk?

Difficult to tell unless you are the original owner.  But most of the times it is clear

it it difficult if 100% silicone it would be clear but some caulks have a percentage of silicone in them if you remember the brand please contact the manufacturer

it is difficult as some acrylic caulks sometimes contain silicone the RV repair shops normally will remove any loose caulk and replace with the rubex caulk on our site
