My roof has started to rust.  Am I able to apply Liquid Rubber over it?

For mild to medium rust you may apply EPDM directly over it assuming it is tightly adhered.  if not first remove any flaking with a bristle brush.  When applying to rust or pitted aluminum be sure to apply sufficient material to completely cover rust.

Hi yes for mild to medium rust you can go right over it without rust inhibitor in fact is stops any future oxidization immediately upon application
