Could I still walk/have patio furniture on 2nd story concrete deck after using liquid rubber?

Currently, I have snap-together wooden deck tiles (bamboo composite on a plastic grid base) sitting on the concrete. Could I replace the tiles after painting with liquid rubber? If there was a chance of puncturing the liquid rubber surface, could I place thin sheets of perspex between the tiles and the rubberized deck surface to prevent it?
