can i mix smaller amounts

Question

I've seen some reviews that it starts to set up before the roof is done.    I bought 6 gallons,  and probably need just over 5.   Can I mix smaller amounts in the 1 gallon can along with catalyst poured into the smaller bottle?   I would feel more comfortable doing it this way and I would have a little left over for touch up or another project.  Thank you

yes you can the ratio is 1.65 oz of catalyst to 33.1 oz of liquid epdm
