Can I use this next to the wood stove pipe on top of the chimney where embers MAY come out?

My wood stove pipe exits the roof through a fake stone chimney with a flat surface area approx. 2 1/2' X 6'.  This concrete surface delaminates and I'm trying to prevent this but am concerned with embers from the wood stove setting this product on fire.
