I plan on building a "floating" hardwood deck on sleeper joist with the sloping spaces between waterproofed with your liquid rubber. I will need to treat the hardwood on an annual basis with oil preservatives like teak oil or tung oil. Some of this oil will naturally drip onto the cured rubber, maybe quite a lot. Will it cause the cured rubber to de-laminate from the plywood substrate or the sleeper joist or otherwise adversely affect the rubber? Also, can I do the initial application of the liquid rubber on new and clean pressure treated wood?
