How to prep for another coat?

Last Labor day I put a coat on my repaired roof. after the second day it started to rain and I had to get on the roof to put the vents and covers on. I want to grind down the foot prints and recoat. Is there any special prep other that power washing?

you don't want to grind down the rubber please wait approx a month and simply recoat after you wash it down and let it dry
