Butyl MS Caulk is a premium, innovative product that represents the next generation of sealant technology. Butyl MS Caulk does not contain any solvents or isocyanates. It exhibits excellent adhesion to many substrates, including: aluminum, brass, steel, glass, granite, marble, wood, and most plastics. Butyl MS Caulk conforms to the requirements of ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, and to AAMA Specification 802.3 Type II as a Back Bedding Compound. Butyl MS Caulk through independent testing as proven itself to outperform Butyl, acrylic or Latex caulks on an application of Liquid epdm rubber.
Product Uses
Butyl MS Caulk is highly weather resistant and paintable caulk. It has also been field tested with the Liquid EPDM rubber and will not void the warranty. It is very effective in sealing around our RV's vents AC's and corners. In addition common applications include preparation for the Liquid EPDM Rubber around windows and door frames, flashing, and joint-filling.

Application Information
Ensure surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, and free of oil and moisture. Exercise care during application to prevent air or contaminant entrapment. Butyl MS Caulk is most commonly applied by pumping, either by caulking gun or power gun. It can also be applied by trowel or stiff brush. Do not handle, move, or pack for one hour until a surface film has formed. If necessary, clean tools and equipment with mineral spirits. Once cured, Butyl MS Caulk can be painted with most industrial and consumer paints, though testing is recommended.
Packaging & Handling
Do not open until ready for use in order to maximize shelf life. Store at 60°– 80°F. Read all labeling before use.
Safety Instructions
Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mouth. Avoid excessive inhalation during application. An MSDS is available upon request.
